Dance in all its fluidity bridges divides and can communicate effortless without words. With the Australian dance community continually moving to embrace new trends and new faces, 2017 has been an exceptional year for both audiences and makers alike. In celebration and recognition of these triumphs, the Australian Dance Awards, are taking place this coming Sunday, the 24th of September at Arts Centre Melbourne, hosted by the incredible Yana Alana and Benjamin Hancock.
Michelle Silby director of Ausdance Victoria on Australian Dance Awards 2017 “This awards ceremony is an important celebration of the dance industry and the performances reflect the wide diversity of dance in this country.
