Structured garments featuring strong lines and crisps silhouettes clashed with the more romantic, leather paired with silk and crushed cotton. Runway 1 presented by Vogue Australia for Melbourne Fashion Festival served up looks that could take us from the day to day to an evening of sophistication and excitement. Featuring garments from some of Australia’s most sought after designers including Albus Lumen, Bianca Spender, Bassike, Camillia and Marc, Dion Lee, Viktoria & Woods along with Scanlan Theodore, it was a bold vision that represents Australia’s emerging love for risk taking fashion choices and a developing style that is all our own.
