VAMFF RUNWAY III

Ruffles, pleats and playful frills, with just a touch of 80’s glamour, Runway 3 presented by Harper’s BAZAAR was a homage to all thing feminine. With Australia’s fashion elite including Aje, Carla Zampatti, Kacey/Devlin, Macgraw, Manning Cartell and Rachel Gilbert presenting their take on this season must have looks, a sophisticated and heady mix that bought back trends we’ve not seen in some time, but with a decidedly contemporary edge. Voluminous skirts and jackets paired with high wasted pants, pussy bows and sling backs. Metallic fabrics and sequins added a touch of glamour, melded perfectly with the more subdued tones, this coming season is all about embracing hyper feminine aesthetics with a playful and bold approach.

Timothy Treasure spent his childhood in regional Victoria. After making the move to Melbourne he studied in Photo Imaging at RMIT, graduating in 2015. Timothy sees the world through the lens of a camera and is inspired by fashion, live music and Melbourne’s vibrant street culture. Previously, he has photographed for Melbourne Arts Fashion and TAGG before launching The Melbourne Critique alongside Jessi Lewis in September 2017. Some of his career highlights include shooting for both VAMFF, MSFW, St Jerome's Laneway Festival and Let Them Eat Cake, alongside getting to meet the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.
