MFW XVIII / STREET RUNWAY I

Presenting the latest collections from some of the city’s most popular and well recognised retailers, Street Runway One had Howie Place in Melbourne CBD come alive on the opening day of Melbourne Fashion Week, 2018. Featuring looks from Obus, Elk, Cue, Forever New, Levi Strauss, Peter Jackson and Witchery, these ready-to-wear capsules featured classic silhouettes against more romantic billows, dapper tailoring against the shock of near 80’s glam. Against the backdrop of a grey, wet Melbourne day, it was a tease of that warm weather soon to come, of slipping into something which makes you feel good and stepping out to explore the night.
