The grand marble staircase that graces the front of Melbourne Town Hall was the setting for this years MFW Global Indigenous Avant Gard Showcase. A runway dedicated to new collections by Indigenous fashion designers from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Nations. With classic silhouettes re-imagened, contemporary application of traditional materials, these pieces traverse time and place.
