FASHION SPRINGS FORTH
The BMW Caulfield Cup, as always brought the fashion fillies out in force. Even with the looming heavy grey clouds overhead nothing could stop the ladies showing off what they’ve got for the official spring carnival launch. The best accessories on track were a well suited gentleman on ones arm and a frock to shock. Gone were the midriff cutouts replaced by soft silks and flowing lace. With labels such as Thurley and MOSMAN abundant. The celebs opted for small and simple selecting crowns and bands over the more traditional millinery. Mixed metals accentuating rich gem tones. With one man opting for a carrot suit, the question remains, was he was trying to entice his horse over the line? Over in the David Jones Fashion Stables, a dramatic display of colour erupted. Celebs and punters alike sipped on Moet whilst exploring the pampering services provided in the decedent surrounds. With flashing cameras and a lip stick touch up everyone was made to feel like a star.
