On the final day of Melbourne Festival 2017, in the architectural splendour of M Pavilion, Our Place Our Home was yet again a resounding and deeply impactful performance, a proud display of unity in increasingly divisive times. A coming together in celebration of culture and diversity featuring performances by Neil Morriss, Mojo Juju here joined by The Pacific Island Choir of Victoria, Cyprien Kagorora and Rwandan Dancers, Brothers in Arms and Cool Out Sun. This Sunday afternoon of performance presented a unique take on culture in the here and now, expressed by some of the most exciting home grown talent Melbourne is lucky enough to call it’s own.
